Location Information

Dourges is a village some 13 kilometres east of Lens, just north of the A21 motorway.

The cemetery is set back to the right on entering the village from Evin-Malmaison. The graves are immediately to the left of the main entrance.



World War One Burial

38611 Private Francis Victor Sydenham, "D" Coy. 5th Bn. Royal Berkshire Regiment, died 16th October 1918, aged 20. Son of Charles and Edith Ann Sydenham, of Higher Holbrooke Cottage, Honiton Clyst, Exeter. Born at Skilgate, Wiveliscombe, Somerset. In South quarter.


World War Two Burials

4976585 Private Kenneth Baldwin, 2/5th Bn. Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment), died 27th May 1940, aged 21. Son of Ernest and Clara Baldwin, of Langley, Derbyshire.

4978657 Private Stanley Booth, /5th Bn. Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment), died between 10th May 1940 and 27th May 1940, aged 21. Son of William and Annie Booth, of Aston-on-Trent, Derbyshire.
