Location Information

Le Sart is a commune 14 kilometres east of Le Cateau - Cambresis. The Churchyard is beside the church in the centre of the village. The two Commonwealth burials of the 1914-1918 war are located on the right hand side of the church.


Burial Details


48514 Private Leonard Holland, 1st/5th Bn. South Staffordshire Regiment, died 5th November 1918, aged 21. Son of Henry and Ann Holland, of 25, Elm St., Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent.

46318 Private J. McNeeney, 1st/5th Bn. South Staffordshire Regiment, died 5th November 1918, aged 26. Son of Patrick and Margaret McNeeney, of Oldham, Lancashire.
