Location Information

Priez is a commune 30 kilometres south of Soissons. The cemetery is on the left hand side, in the direction of Montmanjeon, from the centre of the village.

​Priez Communal Cemetery contains nine Commonwealth burials of the First World War, located against the front wall of the cemetery on the left hand side of the entrance.

Royal Sussex Regiment, died 11th September 1914, aged 19. Son of John and Emily Frances Ellis, of Perrott's Cottage, Graffham, Petworth, Sussex. Born at Midhurst, Sussex.

5832 Company Sergeant Major Don Humberston, "B" Company, 1st Bn. 
The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, died 18th September 1914, aged 35. Husband of Lucy Webb Humberston, of 54, Doncaster Rd., Melton Rd., Leicester. His headstone bears the inscription "Ever In Our Hearts Beloved Wife & Son"

Royal Sussex Regiment, died 11th September 1914, aged 27. Son of Mrs. S. Inkpin, of 45, Bernard Rd., Brighton.
