Location Information

 
Ailly-sur-Noye is approximately 18km south of Amiens. From Amiens take the D7 towards Ailly-sur-Noye, after 13km take the D920 and Ailly-sur-Noye can be found approximately 1km further on this road.


935260 Driver Frank William Scoote, 282nd Army Bde. Royal Field Artillery, died 30th March 1918, aged 24. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Scoote, of 47, Queen's Cottages, Popham St., Islington, London. His headstone bears the inscription "He Died That We Might Be Saved"

248028 Lance Corporal
 A. Short, 5th Bn. Durham Light Infantry, died 26th March 1918, aged 24. Son of Isabella Short, of 18, Store Buildings, Boldon Colliery, Co. Durham, and the late George Short. His headstone bears the inscription "He Is Not Dead But Sleepeth Thy Will Be Done"
