His headstone bears the inscription; "And The God Of Love And Peace Shall Be With You."

Killed by shrapnel from a shell which exploded close to him.

Son of Annie C. Belyea, of 14, Asquith Apartment, Furby St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, and the late Allan R. Belyea.

His headstone bears the inscription; "Nearer My God To Thee."

Stanley was shot through the head by an enemy bullet and died soon afterwards.
