Hersin Communal Cemetery Extension

Hersin Communal Cemetery Extension was begun by French troops, who made over 100 burials, and was taken over by Commonwealth troops and field ambulances in March 1916. It was used until October 1918. The cemetery contains 224 Commonwealth burials of the First World War and 7 French burials.

There are now 3,207 Commonwealth servicemen of the First World War buried or commemorated at Duisans British Cemetery. There are also 88 German war graves. The  cemetery is located near the village of Étrun, close to Arras in France

Haute-Avesnes British Cemetery

Haute-Avesnes British Cemetery was started by The 51st (Highland) Division in July 1916 and it continued to be used by field ambulances of the divisions holding this part of the line. The cemetery contains 142 Commonwealth burials of the First World War and eight German war graves.

Habarcq Communal Cemetery Extension contains 179 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-1918 war. There are also 15 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-1945 war here, 11 of which are unidentified. There are also 378 French burials of the 1914-1918 war here.
