The Memorial at Geluwe in Belgium relates to William Thomas Leggett, who is believed to be the first Australian Serviceman to die in World War One. His grave is in Harlebeke New British Cemetery in Belgium. Picture © Werner Van Caneghem.

This image shows the graves of Sapper C. Barrett, Sapper Arthur Robert Dudley Johnson and 2nd Corporal A. Davey, these three men are believed to be the last Australians to be killed in the Great War. They are buried in Le Rejet-de-Beaulieu Communal Cemetery in France.
