Philosophe British Cemetery at Mazingarbe in France contains three young servicemen, Private Twyford, aged 15, Private Woods, aged 16 and Private McHaffie, aged 17. There are 1,996 Commonwealth burials of the First World War in the cemetery, 277 of them unidentified. All pictures © Werner Van Caneghem
